Ed, who do you think will be the next Hibs manager. {Ed017's Note - tough call to be honest.if gun at head I would say ian murray.

I think if Murray comes to er as manager hibs will not survive cause the fans would really turn there back he's not ready to be the manager of a club like hibernian fc

Why would Murray be a move backwards? Some people said that about Macnamara when he was at Partick, and he's done alright at United!

No past player has come bk and been a top manager for hibs in the last 20 years I have supported them. Need 2 be looking for some1 like tony m knows the English game well. to bring Top youth player up who are keen to show what they can do. No has beens that just want to pick up a wage,

Is it just possible that Macnamara had just marginally better players. we unless you have noticed have none!

Macnamara was a better player than Ian murray and has a better understanding of the game. That's why he's a good coach

Probably right Ed, he would be the cheapest option by a mile. I think it's to soon for him just now and I think it would be another disaster for Hibs if he was given the job. We need someone with more experience.

lets not judge people before they even in the job don't want him, no way ect, ect coming from the fans. If we went and got sir alex some would say he past his best. let's just waite and see who comes in and see what they do. Butcher on paper should have taken us top six when he was appointed didt happen. bet you could get odds on first scottish manager to be sacked next season already. We need good players who want to play for the manager and coaching staff and the fans, some one to get the best out off stanton, harris, ect, ect all good players but no conferance at momment. We looking to much into rangers and hearts being a lot better than us I don't think they great so get some new players in alongside squard that left top goalscorer a must and this team could still take off with a manager the players like. to many didyt like butcher and mm

Murray would be ok as a number 2 but he is never good enough for a big club like hibs

In our present position it has to be someone with experiance and someone who can attract decent players to the club just feel Ian murray at present Isn't the person to come in and take this club forward

So Murray knows the league and players that are in it, has Dumbarton well organised front to the back. Yeah he shouldn't get the job. Some people on here need to have a word with themselves.
