I have it on good authority that kris commons is on 18k at Celtic park and the reported 20% of his wage that we would have to meet surely is not beyond us? Is mr Petrie slamming the biscuit tin TIGHT again! the fans in last 2/ 3 seasons have gone beyond the cry for help wether it be investing in hibs buying merchandise season tickets etc. If commons is not signed because of finance Petrie should walk out of Easter road with his head hung low and just keep walking

Petrie is the sole reason we've been gash for years. There is no way he will spend no way. Your right he should go and never look back

We don't know what's going on, Celtic might want more, which they would be justified in asking for IMO. Commons might have asked for a pay off, or refused to take a cut. Perhaps he still harbours hopes of getting a game for Celtic, this deal was never going to be easy unless Celtic paid him off, which is what I said weeks ago! One thing I don't see is Hibs saying no to the same deal, they haven't said no to Lennon so far, why would LD do it now, the club knows how important this season is.

Tomo if your comment you made a while back regarding commons wife working for a charity in Edinburgh is correct then perhaps he would be happy with a lower wage at Hibs having said that players of his age normally have one last big pay day. Let's hope he signs for the cabbage

I hope he stays at hibs to, but what ever happens I would be very surprised if kris commons at 33 years old would up lift his family and move for 6 months of his contract that remain at Celtic he's either staying at hibs or seeing his Celtic contract out bottom line

NL has said tonight that discussions regarding Common's future will take place on Monday. So until then we will know nothing for certain. Personally I would like to see Hibs sign him on an 18 month contract, which I think would go a long way to ensuring our promotion this season and helping the team establish themselves back in the Premier league next season. Such a contract will no doubt cost money but I believe he would be worth it.

Under Rod Petrie we have won the Scottish Cup. He appointed Stubbs. No further comments.
