Just read an interview with Kevin thomson who says Lennon intends to sign experience and not youth to challenge for 2 nd place, this is all well and good, but he must get it right experience can't be sold on, and we don't want an overaged squad in 3 years down line that's worthless balance must be found.

I totally agree we must have a balanced team. In the past we have perhaps relied too much on youth so l am not unhappy that we are looking at older players who can help bring on the younger players. Remember we have quite a few development league players eagerly waiting to make the breakthrough into the first team I have every confidence Neil will make the right decision.

Lennon only signed a 2yr deal and you have to think that at some time in the near future he will want a crack at England again, you can't blame him because that's where the money is. That being the case he would need to have a really good season and for that reason he may not want to take a risk with youngsters, preferring the tried and tested. He's obviously looking to get goals from other areas of the team and it's about time, rather than have to depend solely on JC. Who BTW I believe will be with us next season unless Hibs get an offer they can't refuse!
