Lennon has came out and stated he'd like to sign another 2/ 3 players after watching us the other night minus a few regulars I wonder do we actually need them? Stokes is well known to be our primary target and obviously he is an ER legend but I question whether he is required. Commons another quality player but is he a necessity (still want him)? With the emergence of 3/ 4 quality youngsters to compliment the existing squad I'll stick my neck on the line and say this is the best Hibs team in 10/ 20 years. GGTTH.

It's certainly going to be difficult to keep them all happy. We now have 9 defenders, 4 FB's and 5 CH's. If we bring in a striker, who does he play? He chased Matulevicius for a yr he's surely going to play him. Simon Murray is scoring goals and Boyle is a must for me, plus Oli Shaw's knocking on the door. We are well off in midfield as well with Slivka being added, and some young guys in there to. It looks like being the best squad we've had for a long time.

Big L that is my only concern can Lennon keep them all happy? Probably not but the competition for places is intense which can only be a good thing for the club. 100% agree with you regarding Squirrel his pace and directness adds another dimension to our play and Murray's goals and work-rate so far can't be dismissed either.

Lithuanian Dave will be the target man again I agree but the explosiveness of both Boyle and Murray will be utilised at Ibrox and Celtic Park I'd imagine when we'll see less of the ball than we've become accustomed to.

Like all fans I love a new signing but I hope any new arrival now is a higher calibre of player if it's going to merit possibly hindering the progress of this exciting next crop!

Good points Oban, great to see the 4 young guys involved, I wonder if their's anymore. Might have to take in a Dev game, see for myself.

Best in 10/ 20? We could still easily be battling relegation as this team could only win a lot of gamss 1-0 with Cummings.

Depending on more signings, this squad could still finish anywhere between 2nd to 11th.

MrAware can you tell me a time in the past twenty years we had a better squad? Mowbrays young brood were good and we cashed in financially but the overall squad in my opinion was inferior to the Lennon's current side.
