It's going to be difficult to keep everyone happy this season. It's a long time since we had the depth of squad we now have. I thought Partick weren't a bad side on Sat. Their result against St Johnstone 2nite is quite telling, even this early in the season.

Edwards is the main man at Partick - he's their playmaker and was missing on Saturday.
Not sure how much of a difference he would've made with the way we picked ourselves up after the soft goal and took control of the game but these teams will take points off each other in the league this season.

Saints aren't as strong since we signed Swanny but they're a well organised outfit especially away from home.
Both sides lack a bit of quality but are difficult on their day so an early league cup game isn't a great indicator to be honest.

Saints have been a good side under Wright for years now. Granted they lost Swanny to us but his goals were mainly from the spot. They also picked up a 500K player in O'Halloran, who scored a cracker for them at Killie on Sat. I expected Killie to do well there but Saints seen them off. Saints were clear Fav's to win against Thistle but didn't. Your right it's still early days but if Thistle had got hammered at Saints it would have been no surprise and it would have detracted from our result imo. (fitba punters theory)

To be fair Saints only got fourth last season because the yams were so poor under Cathro.
We look like Lennon has us drilled and focused, the quality we're facing is a bit more than the last few years and the players are responding to that too by stepping it up.
We look really good right now, I just hope if we have an off day we can bounce back quickly.

I watched a bit of Motherwell v Huns game, the latter wasn't as bad as I thought they would be, but I think we have more than enough, 3-2 to Hibs, ring a bell? I took Hibs at 9/ 2 now 3's. Get yer cash on the Hibees.

6-0 well, that was unexpected! Saturday will be a real test of character, but we have the players to deal with the pressure.

6-0 means nothing. Proven that travanir can't handle stokes and he will be well up for it. Him and swanson can cause damage and Boyle and s. murray will work for the entire match. Brilliant team we have now, fear nobody. AND mark my words, hibs will be the team to end celtics unbeaten run.
