can't believe some of the stuff being mentioned!!

Celtic bought arguably Dun Ud's 2 best players, mid season when D Utd were 2nd in league and in a cup semi to play you know who. They paid 1.5 mil if I remember correct & all was right with the world.

Why? when Gers offer OVER the going rate for someone from the Championship in his last year with Hibs, who probably haven't spent more than 50grand any player for god knows how long - is there such an outcry??
Rangers money problems are well known and documented - why would the suddenly start spending millions on players from ANY league??

{Ed007's Note - What's Celtic and Dundee Utd got to do with anything?}

I know you guys are easy upset Super 7 & I didn't want to touch a nerve.
But was just using it to compare situations. Seems it was ok last January, to spend buttons for 2 very highly rated young guys -but there are people on this site who think it ok to ask for 750k - 1 mill for a championship player who they got for free and is in the last year (maybe not if rumours are correct) of his contract.
The days of holding Rangers or anyone else to ransom for payers is long gone.

{Ed007's Note - I'll ask again, what has Celtic and Dundee Utd got to do with the SA situation?}

It's not about holding anyone to ransom, it's about the value we put on OUR player! Scott Allan had lost his way a bit and Hibs and Alan Stubbs in particular have got him back to excellent form and he is a very valuable player for US! We didn't ask your 3 year old club to make an offer, particularly when you couldn't even afford it. Rest assured, no one will hold sevco to ransom for a long long time because that little stunt you just pulled let everyone know YOU HAVE NO MONEy!!!
