We're having this league handed to us on a plate yet when it seems easy to put more points between ourselves and the rest of the opposition we mess it up. Same old hibs. Forget the scottish cup last year, forget a run this year, the boys need to solely concentrate on promotion. We should be flying high yet we look no better or do we deserve any more than the rest of the clubs in this league. Shambles.

We're a big fish in a small pond, we're there to be shot at teams get men behind the ball most weeks and we have to find a way to break them down, our players seem to be better suited to more open games, cup games against so called better teams, we will escape this league, stuttering as we go, & another run in cup is a great possibility. it won't be pretty all the time, but the goal WILL be achieved.

You have to bear in mind that this team is virtually the one that collapsed dramatically last season, please don't tell me that it couldn't happen again, I've been a Hibs fan to long to take anything for granted. Lennons rant yesterday was in an effort to make sure that we don't get a repeat. We should be further in front, and I think the reason we're not is as much down to him as the players. The five outfield players he brought in have not had the required impact, team selection has left me shaking my head at times, like against Ayr! Don't forget, because of his rant yesterday, he will have a very angry dressing room, let's hope we get the right response. I've looked at the next 5 matches for us Morton Dun Utd and Falkirk and at some point we all meet each other. If we win these games we will go up, If we don't we will have a battle to get there and that's what I expect.

Big L, what's happened? If i wrote the comment did, you'd be telling me to stop being negative! Ha

Your comment is spot on, though.

I am always wary of a collapse, that's why i won't be confident unless we're 13 points ahead.

Before we went on our 4 game losing run last year, we were only winning by 1 goal each game and that was clear signs we weren't impressive. I just hope this isn't a repeat.

P. s we desperately need a 2nd player to get scoring. Holt and Keatings goalscoring rate is embarrassing.
We can't just have one goalscorer in this squad with the wages they're on.

4.) 21 Feb 2017 19:42:47
What's happening Mr A is that I'm sweating blood watching the eye bleedin stuff being served up by Lennons Hibs. Every time we get a chance to put space between us and the rest we fail to do so. Wins against Ayr and Raith would have put us 11 pt's clear, but we're not and I'm not happy about that. I feel that one defeat and we could be in a fight.

Just seen a live video post of Celtic back in glasgow training, commons back in his celtic training gear. A sign no deal to extend for us is off!?

Someone tried to tells us on here that the money didn't count to Commons. Well it appears it does, no doubt Celtic would tear up his contract in a heart beat, which would free Commons to play for us or anyone else for that matter. Commons must want a pay off, Hibs won't break the bank, I hope I'm wrong but I think this deal might be to difficult to get thru.

2.) 17 Jan 2017 21:00:12
Of course he's in Celtic gear training he's a Celtic player at his work? What's the big deal his emergency contract ended on Sunday so back to his parent club until something can be worked out

3.) 17 Jan 2017 21:24:53
The big deal "chairman" is commons potential extension at Hibs. I was merely pointing out something I'd seen and that perhaps someone may have news regarding talks.

4.) 18 Jan 2017 16:29:05
Dun Utd got an offer in to take Gary McKay Stevens, would take him instead of anyone else available from Celtic.

5.) 19 Jan 2017 00:02:59
I still like hendo, his passion for the club and fans does it for me

6.) 19 Jan 2017 02:03:40
Omg! I now agree with hibby07 Henderson for me every time, very hard for a young talent to admit he's got to drop down a level to kick on tho, he still thinks he can force his way into Celtic first team and who am I to say he can't

Any news regarding Hendo and commons? See they have both been left out in the cold by Rogers. Chance stubbs might take Hendo at Rotherham?

ARP1

{Ed007's Note - Celtic would rather Henderson left permanently but Hibs are only looking for another loan. I'm not sure that Hibs can afford Commons unless Celtic subsidised a good chunk of his wages for a loan.}

1.) 10 Aug 2016 12:39:24
Would be great if we could buy Henderson, develop him and then sell him for a considerable profit like we hope to do with Cummings and Mcginn. Also with Dylan and Fraser somewhat injury prone, another midfielder would not go amiss in my opinion. What do you think Henderson would cost?

Yet again. That wasn't a team defending, forcing us to break them down. Dunfermline took the game to us and played us off the park at home. Bar Holt (who is shocking week in week out) the team lennon puts out should dominate any team in the championship, you can't blame him. We lack serious mental consistency. Results went our way this week and again we failed to take advantage. To much focus on the scottish cup is ruining a potentially straight forward promotion campaign. This season could dictate the future of our club and the players need to realise this as financial backing should we fail again will not be there compared to the past couple of seasons and the good players will go. We've through it away countless times before hence the reason we are where we are. Our margin just now at the top means nothing when you take into account our track record. Very worrying.

3 pt's from 9. Ayr, Raith and Dunfermline. Just as well Dun U Falkirk and Morton are all dropping points. Throw in another draw and a defeat snd this could be as bad as the collapse last season.

A poor man's slaver!? Nice haha.
Listen pal your naive outlook shines through everytime you hit that keyboard. Your an experienced football fan, never a player. I'm not going to go back and forward with you as I know it's what you live for. I have my opinion, you don't, you just like to sit there shooting everyone down. The fact than Anya excites you says enough. Wonder if Joey Bartons looking for a game!? Big name tomo? Sign him! What's rivaldo up to these days?

Here he goes, SPL sports writer of the year. The poor man's Chris Sutton. Pot kettle tomo. Anyone with a footballing mind must have been able to watch Anya and his "recent" form only to realise that he's nothing more than a grey hound with square feet. But because a year ago he played in the EPL and not to mention breaking into the scotland squad (a real coup) that makes it almost certain that he'd come to Scotland and tear it up. In MY opinion it's a terrible idea however if he's got your seal of approval then by all means go ahead and knock on leannes door. Your what's wrong with Scottish football. Turning it into a league of off the boil EPL and championship players doesn't do anything for Scottish football across the board. There's young lads with the ability, passion and drive to make it in the big leagues that would do twice a job. I don't agree with hibs going down the retirement route (again my opinion) . Stokes is an example of this and throwing away money paying half arsed players top bill.

I can understand the stokes rumour, guys a waster and barr a few decent performances hasn't really brought much whilst I assume claiming the biggest wage. The Boyle rumour is surely a bit far fetched. As for Anya. terrible football player. Headless chicken with little technical ability, would frustrate more than please with that horse shoe ball control of his.

I'd take him if financially it was an easy move. Fitness is fantastic even at a ripe old age. He's been rangers most consistent performer for a few seasons and no matter what club the man plays for he gives 100% week in week out, a trait that has died slightly in the modern game. He's a thorn in the opposition's side and his movement is fantastic. Why not!?
