Following the on TV that Scott Allan has now officially handed in a written transfer request a hastily held board meeting was informed that if Allan were to be sold to Rangers he would seriously have to consider his own position as manager of the club. Every player has his price and for a guy who joined Hibs with a view to having another crack somewhere down south we should hold out for at least 500k with a 15% sell on clause or if Allan doesn't want to play for the club that effectively saved his footballing career from total oblivion then stick him in with the "stiffs" or in the stand to warm his arse until his contract expires then show him the door. At present we have reportedly been offered around 225k in installments which works out at around 10k per week for the remainder of his contract. That also works out at around 500 less supporters going to ER every other week and you can bet your bottom dollar there will be a lot more than that staying away. Bite the bullet Hibs and continue telling Sevco to get stuffed.

The biggest problem is how much disrespect has been shown to hibs by the media and scottish football, this guy believes his own hype, fair dos players hav egos he is known for a strop or two in the past but as a long standing successful club with steeped in history and the jersey worn by true legends and footballing geniuses that this lad couldnae even comprehend now that really gets my blood boiling, rangers are a negative entity holing scottish football back hav cheated and lied for a cabinet full of brass that belongs to a club that died a while back but for the sake of a tradition no one enjoys pundits and media in our putrid lost and damaged game want them to be back where they belong! Well they will b soon enjoy!!!!!! If that's wat enjoyment passes for in these times.

Biggest problem in football are the agents. They are in for one thing only and that is to make their cut out of any transfer whether it be good or bad for the player.

Who knows what lies ahead for Scott Allan whether it be for Hibs or any other team. At the moment things are looking not to bad for a player who's career was almost finished until Hibs threw him a lifeline. His prospects are reasonably good for a move back down south, as he has himself says he wants, and will get if he continues to perform on a regular basis in the Hibs team. Now, should he leave Hibs for another Championship side and things don't work out will the agent refund his percentage?.

Funny how the press now seem to be interested in the benefits to Hibs by selling Scott Allan all of a sudden when all they normally do is scrape the gutter to get opinions from former so called "legends" that have played for the two main weegie sides splashed across the back pages.

this rubbish with SA has gone on long enough he needs to stop listening to all the rubbish that his agent is telling him .He is a Hibs player for another year he needs to settle down with the rest of the team and do the job that he is getting paid for .Why would he want to go to that bankrupt team in the west who can't even pay there bills and will be even worse of if mike Ashley demands his money back the grass is not always greener on the other side he should be gratefull to hibs and not being like a spoiled child throwing there toys out of the pram

good news to hear that Stubbs and his backroom staff have all extended there contracts at Hibs this shows belief and ambition in the future of the club going in the right direction .I hope with the other new players he is trying to bring into the club that I hope SA rethinks his positon and stays as part of the bigger picture he should be very grate full to both the club and to the manager for where he is now .

tam mcgoogligan: I'm sure I read, or heard something about some former manager of a fairly new football club in Scotland who, along with his family, suffered some disgusting bile just because he was sent, whilst still under contract, on a fully paid year long horticultural course. I'm sure I remember that fans of this new club thought he should ignore the fact he had a contract, tear it up and pay for the duration of the gardening course himself. Double standards old chap.

Colin191078: If, and I say, if, Scott Allan happens to be in the Hibs team that plays Rangers in the league in a few weeks time and he scores the winning goal I take it you'll just sit there with your mouth shut and your hands tightly clasped. Aye right.
