Madolski training at east mains.

GLORYHIBS

1.) 03 Sep 2016 00:42:40
Who? What's the first name?

2.) 03 Sep 2016 12:21:29
Filip Modelski is the right back training at east mains as I reported on 31 of August, cover needed for David gray, east mains the hive of industry, produces yet again?

3.) 04 Sep 2016 10:31:01
Everyone trains at east mains. Players from all over England attend east mains to do their coaching bages. What's this hive of industry actually producing lol. ? . There has been many many players trained here it dosent mean we're going to sign them, I can tell you about 2 Spanish players that came on trial a couple of seasons ago, nobody heard of them because they were gash and didn't get the deal. Agents bring players in all the time it means nothing. Is the hive of industry the new name for east mains.

20 Jul 2016 10:01:47
Anybody worried about the lack of signings? I still think we need to sign at least 3 players including another big striker?

GLORYHIBS

1.) 20 Jul 2016 10:59:42
what about Adam Le Fondre?
Big friends with that other "big striker" we have just signed but is a decent player and is not carrying three stone.
He's available on loan from Cardiff.

2.) 20 Jul 2016 14:00:31
We need more goal threats in the team particularly from midfield when strikers are not scoring.

3.) 20 Jul 2016 20:56:52
At this time I would be happy with a quality keeper. I'm happy with the defence and midfield and not that unhappy with the forwards.

4.) 21 Jul 2016 00:29:00
A quality keeper is a must and quickly so that he can get used to playing with the other defenders before the championship fixtures start. Another big physical striker is required to share that role with Holt since at the age of 35 we can't expect him to play the full season even if he is injury free.

5.) 21 Jul 2016 08:38:48
I wouldn't add too many. The players know each other which will ease us into the new season. Henderson back on loan would be good, I read Celtic still need to cut back on players. Lennon is particularly pleased with midfield. A player that can play in any of the defensive positions as cover would be good. And a Garry O'Conner type figure up front, strength but not static.
Surely though, we need 2 new keepers. The young Fin surely isn't ready for first team football or back up?

6.) 21 Jul 2016 18:45:58
I would say we need a keeper a good hard striker and an attacking midfielder but nothing seems to be happening have you heard anything?

7.) 21 Jul 2016 20:18:15
Duos heard out?

8.) 23 Jul 2016 15:07:09
I'd go for victor Valdez.

17 Jun 2016 17:07:39
Strum our at the moment is that were getting close to getting Henderson, mcgregor and commons on loan.

GLORYHIBS

1.) 17 Jun 2016 20:40:30
Can't see this, we surely don't need 3 midfielders. Weve got McGinn Bartley Fyvie McGeough Martin and Stanton. The priority is a striker or 2 and goalie.

2.) 17 Jun 2016 23:17:00
Agree mate but just passing on what I heard

3.) 19 Jun 2016 19:40:15
Wonder if Conrad Logan will be kept on? Would seem a good acquisition

4.) 21 Jun 2016 00:30:41
Really?
He's no keeper and I'm surprised he's not already gone.
He did us a turn but that's it.
Wish him all the best but not at Hibs.

5.) 21 Jun 2016 19:00:28
Persevered obviously a new poster ah? . Why would you want rid of Logan? What do you mean he's no keeper? Explain yourself because in my eyes if it wasn't for him we would have been out in the semis.

6.) 22 Jun 2016 11:55:43
I heard James Forrest's name being linked as a possible loan deal along with Liam Henderson

I would seek out Rodgers as a goalie, but agree we have too many similar Midfielders.

7.) 22 Jun 2016 11:57:23
Conrad, Thanks forever grateful, but not sure you could compete much higher than the championship for us. but you just might help get us there.

8.) 22 Jun 2016 22:34:33
I'll explain why Logans not for us
He had a howler against Falkirk
He isn't fit
He looks suss
Yeah he had a cracking game in the semis but open your eyes. I'd be really surprised if Lennon keeps him.
As other poster said, he's a legend but I reckon if we use him you will find I'm right. Hope not to be proven right.
We need a better keeper than any we've got.

9.) 23 Jun 2016 16:05:46
Yeah he had a howler I know I was their however excluding Andy Gorum tell me a keeper that hasn't had a howler. Yes he's not fit but he is going in to a full pre season and I do agree if he's not fit after 5-6 weeks intensive training then he dosent deserve a contract. Surely we can all see what he does have and what he's capable of so I say give him a chance to get match fit then judge. We've had crap keepers over the last 20 years so another few weeks won't make a difference.

10.) 24 Jun 2016 11:16:22
Great argument Hibby07, we've had shite so let's keep shite!
Thats the sort of attitude that's got us in this mess.
Anyhow, he's getting the boot, so no worries.
Surprised if Oxleys going too, but probab;ly he's not happy being second fiddle to whoever is coming in.
McGovern?

11.) 24 Jun 2016 13:40:43
Your like a politician twisting the truth, all I said was he has shown us what he's capable of therefore I think he needs time to get fit then judge him. It's quite simple really, why get rid of a keeper who has shown potential to be a cracker. Get him fit and if he's not producing in pre season get rid. My comment regarding shect keepers is true. Give the lad a chance to get fit before we judge.

12.) 25 Jun 2016 12:33:54
Celtic won't loan us so many players this season. They where only doing it to get one over on rangers and now they're back in the big time there's no chance.

13.) 25 Jun 2016 15:11:38
That's a stupid comment they were only loaning us players to get one over Rangers. The players they loaned to us are not good enough for a strong Celtic side. The only reason we got them was to get them match fit and to see if they were any good. Honestly some people have crazy ideas. Big conspiracy theorists ah.

14.) 26 Jun 2016 10:41:40
I don't think its a conspiracy. It was obvious what they were doing. Just wait and see how many we get this season. Its very unusual to get the same young player loaned out to the same club season after season they usually like to move them about to different clubs and leagues so they can gain more experience.

15.) 26 Jun 2016 15:33:18
Your talking mince. Any club loan out players to get them fit and to see how they perform getting first team football. To think Celtic gave us players to beat rangers makes you deluded. That's what you would like to think but in reality that dosent happen.

14 Jun 2016 17:07:02

Good luck stubbsy you are and always will be a hibs legend GGTTH.

GLORYHIBS

1.) 01 Jun 2016 18:39:23
Agreed. Disappointed he went but can understand him wanting to be near his family. Good luck Stubbsy. You got us the holy grail

2.) 01 Jun 2016 18:47:28
He will always be remembered certainly for winning the cup.
Personally, I would have liked him to stay on but have lost a lot of respect for him and his assistant.
Yesterday morning he travelled to Rotherham, discussed terms and signed by tea time and still had time for an exclusive with the Sun. Not much regard for Hibs and the fans there.
Couldn't wait to sign and couldn't be bothered telling the Board, who have been very good to him, personally. Were they told by a quick phone call or did they hear of it in the news?
Also no public explanation and no thanks to the supporters.
Given the speed at which all this was done, do you think he had some prior knowledge maybe not directly but through agents?
Rotherham are a bottom end team in a highly competitive league so it will be interesting to see what he does.
Stubbs may have no loyalty but I used to think he would the good grace to praise and thank Hibs for the big chance they gave him.

14 Mar 2016 21:28:17
I thought hibs played brilliant on Sunday but we lack confidence now down to brass tacks will the same 30.000 turn out on Wednesday and every other week I think not stop being a glory hunter and support your team we are the hibs family.

GLORYHIBS

1.) 14 Mar 2016 22:43:00
That's what happens when teams with a small regular support get to finals it's a family day out to cheer on the team it would be great if they turned out every game but u know yourself it won't happen mate!maybe if they won it would have been better for the glory hunters

2.) 16 Mar 2016 15:23:41
GLORYHIBS - I'm sure I've already explained to you why we don't get a huge crowd every week. Read and remember and stop acting silly.

3.) 21 Mar 2016 19:23:36
Ryan - Glory Hunters? Maybe you still live at home with your mum, have no mortgage and live beside Easter Road, but many fans do have a mortgage, kids expenses, don't live in Edinburgh area and have a low wage.

On top of that, we are 2nd tier and have been underperforming league wise since Mowbray left. Only finished top 4 once in 10 years! Ridiculous considering we should be 4th. Yet, Motherwell continuously finish high and have finished 2nd 3 times in 20 years! Yet when i say Hibs should be aiming for 2nd when Rangers were relegated, people like Big L & Piquet say I'm crazy! Unbelievable.

4.) 23 Mar 2016 20:38:13
I've a mortgage too mate and children and I live nowhere near Easter road and wouldn't want too I go and support my team weekly my point is 25000 to a cup final is a lot of glory hunters considering your average gate for the season it's just the way it is the same for most clubs when they get to a final with exception of Rangers and Celtic as they would fill there allocation with fans that have season tickets as they have a large support!!my point is maybe if they actually won a final maybe some of these would come back on a regular basis u ain't gona tell me out of that 25000 only a 5th can afford to go more often!!

5.) 04 May 2016 02:24:26
A glory hunter is someone who supports a team just because they're big and ignored their local team. So nobody who supports Hibs could ever be classed as a glory hunter. We never win any trophies.

You never read my comment. Why would people pay DEAR money when Hibs are constantly underachieving? It's a complete waste of money. Paying to be angry every 2nd week? Have a word woth yourself. Hibs have the 4th biggest support in Scotland but how often are they there? Once in ten years. If we were top 5 in SPL every season, our crowds would be back at 11-14,000 again.

07 Feb 2016 20:09:30
Swell done stubbsy and the hibs team today you fought to the end and deserved the win never mind a draw.

GLORYHIBS

1.) 08 Feb 2016 09:55:58
The lad Gunnarson looks a good find, We moved up a gear when he came on for Gray, hope they have an option to extend his contract.
