Stokes signing tomorrow £4K a week plus scoring add ons.

H18AMT

1.) 23 Jul 2017 11:58:15
I thought they would have to get somewhere near £4K to have a chance of signing him. He certainly wasn't going to sign for less than the yams are paying Laughertty!

2.) 23 Jul 2017 12:40:33
Glad we never got Lafferty. He’s keek. Not a team player.

3.) 23 Jul 2017 14:39:13
Agreed on Laugh but neither is Stokes a team player.

4.) 23 Jul 2017 15:04:25
Hopefully he can settle in this time knowing he has tried elsewhere. Edinburgh is his home. I imagine being settled in an area makes quite a difference to morale on the pitch. Lennon won't take any nonsense either.

Moult and May would come for a season or 2 and move on. I'd prefer we lose the feeder team persona and have a team of Sir Lewis'.

5.) 23 Jul 2017 20:31:22
I'd love that we had a loyal squad too but we simply won't pay enough for a young talent's loyalty and never have.
The game breeds ambition and Scotland isn't at a high enough level to quench that thirst.

May might look to leave but Moult has been at Motherwell for a few seasons so far, almost been relegated and hasn't left yet.

6.) 24 Jul 2017 07:36:02
But 'Laugherty' has already proven me wrong by performing at a high level, scoring consecutively and has been playing good football. It's a shame you're not a big enough club for him to sign with you.
Enjoy Stokes- he really is a good player.

#WeeTeam.

7.) 24 Jul 2017 10:00:39
We will enjoy stokes even more so when he scores the winner against hearts laffertey hasn't scored against any decent sides enjoy your 7ft flute playing fraud.

19 Jun 2017 18:57:13
Read some rubbish somewhere that Gary Locke was joining us. As what? He was a crap manager. Hence crap coach. Unless NL has him in to give out the half time oranges?

H18AMT

1.) 19 Jun 2017 20:41:32
It's a rumour that's growing legs! Did he not have success bringing thru Walker, Nicholson etc maybe want him for the kids.

12 Jun 2017 10:49:32
EEN has JC off to Forest subject a medical. No mention about how much we'd get for him.

H18AMT

1.) 12 Jun 2017 13:12:03
ah in rod we trust - bigger league = bigger shop window season ticket money and transfer money and new sponsors will go directly to tom and him for first dibs and back with what's left to hibs, fall outs wi lenny to come over budgets and he will be off too, here we go again
back to normality, and championship in a few years only thing missing is the plastic pitch.

2.) 12 Jun 2017 14:06:01
BTW he's pulled that stroke before, sell the ST's then sell the players. Remember Laursen and De La cruz. I think whoever is sold will be replaced, their is no way he will get away wi that stuff wi Lennon and LD to deal with.

3.) 12 Jun 2017 14:07:51
If their is any truth in the Hanlon deal, that might explain the move for Lindsay of Partick.

4.) 12 Jun 2017 16:34:37
There's enquiries at hibs about our players on a weekly basis as we do our selves at other clubs, because one guy posts one rumour there's no panic!
Back in championship, plastic pitch! Rod Petrie doing the dirty etc! Gtf!
We here to compete, we've got people in at the club who are winners.
Cummings or McGinn moving are not surprises surley?
It's a natural cycle at a club like ours
As I said we now have people who will move us forward and sell and invest wisely GGTTH.

5.) 12 Jun 2017 17:10:21
not doing the dirty just same old same old, expressing an opinion like any one else-ps bought a calendar one year and had 1 player left at the end of that year from the calander photos - that's rod short sighted, a 20+ goal striker in scottish prem is European football without is relegation battle, speaking from experience and having met him, he's tighter than a camels ars#e in a sandstorm, ps u gtf brave sheep.

6.) 12 Jun 2017 17:40:54
A 20+ goalscorer in the premier league is indeed a chance of European football, but as far as I no we haven't got one?
Jason Cummings right now has proved he's a goalscorer at championship level nothing else.

7.) 12 Jun 2017 18:34:26
So a goal a game v heRtz a prem team didn't count he will score anywhere given service.

8.) 12 Jun 2017 19:41:33
You can surmise all you want he's not played spl and not proven, so his cup goals against hertz don't count you're right.

9.) 12 Jun 2017 23:16:15
he has 2 in 2 in prem playoff at 18 and an average of .7 goals per game at 21- v hearts 5 in 6 v gers 8 goals are you a hibs supporter or part of the eds arsenal to wind big L up HOW MUCH WOULD WE HAVE TO PAY IF HE WAS A FORREST PLAYER WITH THOSE STATS, sorry but what stats did lg have at that age- when Dundee were let me see in the championship - prem in Scotland is no different to championship top 5 clubs bar celtic and maybe Aberdeen who were pants and fluked a win against us playin mince ps Scotland 2 -England 2 and about a foot higher than every outfield player so their champ/ prem ionship ain't that great either takin out the foreign players.

10.) 12 Jun 2017 23:38:53
Swanson will score at least 20 goals this season and a far better technical player than Cummings.

11.) 13 Jun 2017 03:00:50
You aren't telling me anything I don't no 8 goals against a championship Huns team 5 cup goals against hertz, he's raw and maybe improve? We don't no for certain? Maybe be like James keatings and found a level where he's consistent in lower leagues. 2 spl goals where also against a championship team
He's not proven in spl! he dosnt want to play with hibs!
£1m is plenty for a championship player let's move on now.

05 Sep 2016 12:30:34
Hateley has signed for Dundee. His loss.

H18AMT

1.) 05 Sep 2016 17:29:47
It's quite obvious he wasn't up to our standard. Lennon didn't want him and that's why he hasn't signed.

2.) 05 Sep 2016 18:22:19
It would be an absolute miracle if hibs where to lose out to dundee for any player- quote ( hibby 07 )
Back to your football manager game little boy lololololo.

3.) 05 Sep 2016 22:53:17
We haven't lost out to Dundee are you deluded or what. Clearly Lennon didn't fancy him after watching him train why do you think the other player is training just now. Honestly all you ever do is criticise others or tell us what you've read in the papers that day. Your teacher must be happy with you.

4.) 06 Sep 2016 00:16:15
Your right hibby Lennon didn't rate him he's not good enough for the cabbage.

5.) 06 Sep 2016 10:37:25
Exactly that's my point he's not good enough. Let's face it many people come to train and don't get a deal. Tomo seems to play the media game, read something then post it here as if he were first. Hibs are number one and hately knew he wasn't good enough.

6.) 07 Sep 2016 09:45:18
If you were Hateley would you join a club where the captain of the club who is an absolute legend had the position you wanted to play in? As for him playing in mid field, who would he replace? Hateley went where he would get a game and that's that! !

7.) 07 Sep 2016 14:16:19
He would have been a squad player simple.

8.) 07 Sep 2016 16:17:59
I still think we need a squad player who can cover at both left and right back. We have cover all over except defence in my opinion. A loan deal would be good and cause less fuss than a long term signing as back up. Maybe Lennon sees quality in youth that we haven't seen yet though.

9.) 07 Sep 2016 17:19:39
Hateley was never going to replace anyone in the hibs team unless he filled in for suspension or injury, which is the depth we didn't have last year or the year before, Dundee offered longer terms than hibs as we only offered a year, that's why he chose Dundee, not as some people think on this site that Lennon didn't fancy him.

10.) 07 Sep 2016 23:11:25
Lennon obviously didn't fancy him that much or he would have offered him a 2 yr deal as well, so it would appear everybody's right except you!

11.) 07 Sep 2016 23:25:19
Lennon didn't have control over the offered contract he wanted the player but the board didn't back him this happens from time to time as you've pointed out no loss to hibs.

12.) 08 Sep 2016 00:15:20
I smell bulls--t! If Lennon wanted him for 2 or 3 yrs LD would have backed him, no doubt! The guy wanted to play not sit on the bench, which is what he would have done if he'd joined us.

13.) 08 Sep 2016 12:58:46
Tomo I'd like to know where you get you made up information. I know it's a rumour site but your actually guessing and it's quite clear for all to see. The board room keep all transfer talk private yet you somehow come out with these statements as if you were actually negotiating the deal. Come on stop sprouting and give us inelegant people some credit.

14.) 08 Sep 2016 13:38:24
Speak for yourself Hibby07. I feel I have a decent amount of elegance! :p.

15.) 08 Sep 2016 15:29:05
I've told you before and I will tell you once more I work within the walls of Hibernian, wether u believe me or not I don't care, I hear snippets of information on a daily basis not all worth reporting, to me hibby 07 u sound bitter, and are forever putting people down my guess is that your a closet Jambo and never bn to Easter Rd . please play your football manager game and leave the reality big mans talk to everyone else.

16.) 09 Sep 2016 10:58:00
Tomo Tomo Tomo Tomo I'm not bitter at all infact if you look at my posts over the years I very rarely disagree with anyone and that info is available for all. I'm only disagreeing with you because you have never once read a post from you that's came true also I don't believe you at all that you work for Hibs. I'm very friendly with some ex players infact most of you have probably met me at one time or another however that's not my point. This bored of direectors we've had have always done everything in secrecy and never told a sole what's going on, the only reason we get snippets is when the actual player in question starts the Tom Tom drums going. I know for a FACT that Lennon had assurances he would get any player he wanted as long as it was within the agreed budget that's why he took the job. Clearly Hately was going to be a squad player and was well within our budget whatever that may be. Quite possibly Lennon only wanted to give him a years deal and the player wanted 2 years but the reality is none of us knows. The facts are if Lennon wanted the guy he would have signed. Getting back to my original point you know nothing as to any transfer talk at east mains as your posts have proven. If and its a big if you worked at Hibs in any capacity some of the info you gave would be true but your posts have all failed to be true. Also I'm very friendly with Gary O'Hagon and a few others that I won't name and they tell me nowt and that's why I know your guessing.

17.) 09 Sep 2016 15:40:21
Ha ha ha ha you bite like a shark ha ha ha ha.

18.) 11 Sep 2016 13:04:50
I'm not biting I'm only telling the truth,

Scott Brown says perfect way for Septic to win league would be at Easter Road. As a Hibs fan how? I don't want them or anyone else winning at Leith San Siro for any reason. I know he's a professional paid well by his employers but he's a Hibs fan? Maybe he should keep his opinion to himself or question his loyalty to his supposed boyhood club?

H18AMT

1.) 14 Apr 2018 00:39:26
As much as I agree about no teaming winning the league at Easter Road the one thing is that Scott Brown was a boyhood Rangers fan.

13 Aug 2017 09:09:58
From EEN - 'Show me respect' Raging Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha slams Neil Lennon and match officials as Ibrox men crash to defeat!

Is this eejit for real?

H18AMT

09 Aug 2017 20:06:49
Leigh Griffiths. Please please please don't do the heart sign with your hands to the Septic fans. You're a Hibs fan man. You're betraying your boyhood team. If you kiss the badge I will disown you!

H18AMT

{Ed007's Note - He does it to his girlfriend/family and kids sitting in the stand, if you watch him he always looks up to the same bit of the main stand to do it. In saying that I think it's bloody awful when anyone does it so I agree that he should stop.}

06 Aug 2017 21:51:18
Jumbos bottom of the league. Here's hoping they stay there. Dive dive dive!

H18AMT

1.) 07 Aug 2017 19:35:47
Would you not rather they just stay 9th or 10th so we can beath them 3 times a year? If they aren't in the league thrn we can't take advantage of them being weak. Especially if they get Steve McLaren! Haha

P. s it will be 3 years unbeaten in october against Hearts! Looks like it will continue also!

2.) 10 Aug 2017 19:12:21
Nope. I’d rather see them drop. I’ll never tire of their demise. Just as they wouldn’t with us. It’s nothing personal. It’s just Hearts. And they mean nothing to me. GGTTH.

18 Jul 2017 09:29:02
Anyone know whatever happened to Jamie Insall? Be good to see the lad get something. I like these rags to riches stories.

H18AMT

1.) 18 Jul 2017 12:05:39
Yeh, they're nice. I think Insall will still be shopping at Oxfam!

He’s not going to spend money for the sake of it. He’ll know who he wants within the budget limits. He’s been very successful as a player and a manager. He knows what he’s doing and I have no doubt he’ll do what’s the very best for my beloved club. I trust him and his judgement implicitly.

Just going to be a transition without SJM. We managed without McGeough because we’ve got similar players. We have no like for like for SJM.

Probably be nonsense. But I’d be happy with that. We’d get McGinn for another year. We’d get Scotty Allan. And £1.5M. Bit of a no brainer. I can imagine all parties would be happy too. Just got to find a fulcrum to replace McGeough. Looks like he’s Sunderland bound. Hopefully Bartley will be staying too. I think he has a couple of more years left on his contract.

He may not help himself at times. But he is entitled to defend himself. I defy anyone not to react to the bile he receives. He got it when he played for Northern Ireland and being catholic. The diehard sectarian nutters then never wanted him even though he gave his all for NI. He is allowed to be outspoken. He has an opinion just like everyone else. I say good on him. He’s the best thing to happen to this club in decades. I hope we manage to tie him down on a longer contract. Got the first time in years I look forward to match days!

And another thing.

I have a friend who’s a Sevco fan who was there and he was embarrassed and ashamed by his clubs so called element of fans who continually hurls dogs abuse at NL for the whole 90 minutes. Even for the decent Gers fans there that is hard to listen to.

If you heard the abuse he received. I’d defy anyone not to reaction. He is allowed to celebrate his clubs success. And so what if he slightly invited it. If he did nothing he’d still get the dogs abuse. And the media, hun fans etc would still be on his back. When he was Celtic manager I was of the same opinion as everyone else, without the sectarian part. I just thought he was a nyaff. However now I think he’s the best manager we’ve had in years. I look forward to every match now. He is his own man and he’s allowed to defend himself. Rangers fans just need to remember the glass houses and stones phrase.
