I think he's coming on loan rather than on trial. Seems to be highly thought of and have good technical ability. Can play either in the middle or on the wing.

He's here!

Boyle out for 4 weeks as result of training injury. Should be able to cope without him with the squad we've got although we'll miss him.

Not surprised to see that police have found no evidence of criminality in Neil Lennon's goal celebrations on Saturday. I honestly cannot believe that the Rangers support thought otherwise. I can see a lot more trouble coming from them if Sevco continue to lose games. If Rangers and their support continue to moan and complain unjustifiably, then when they do have a genuine cause for complaint no one will listen to them.

1.) 15 Aug 2017 14:25:31
TBH does anybody really listen to them? As for Lenny, he wants to give up winding them up and concentrate on the job in hand. He surely doesn't need all the grief and he certainly doesn't need the death threats!

2.) 16 Aug 2017 13:33:28
watched all the footage, lenny was mimicking firstly the rangers supporters with the ears and secondly rangers fist pump at their first goal,
thought the ref didn't help by not booking rangers players earlier some of the tackles were so late they needed the clocks to change, stokes got away with it cause every action was provoked and the ref would have had to send more rangers players off, all in though u have to laugh newco rangers fans moaning about a referee at ibrox and to police - and you say he then cupped his ears at you sir ok were right on it lol.

Heard a rumour today that Gray has been approached by Hearts to see if he is interested in joining them next season. Supposedly the talk of the locker room. Don't know what Gray's reaction is. Just hope if it's true he tells them to get lost. He would be difficult to replace and after the cup final he has been a bit of a hero for us.

I think their is some truth in that one, he was on their books before he went to Man Utd, it makes sense to weaken us I suppose. I also think they, plus the Dons might make a move for Fyvie and to be honest I wouldn't blame him if he left.

2.) 30 Apr 2017 04:31:33
David gray is a born hibee there's no way on gods earth he's going to hertz! Never. Heard so much crap in all my life, if your going to make things up make them half believable!

3.) 30 Apr 2017 10:10:27
To my knowledge SDG was a hértz supporter, it is strange however that their has been no word about our captain signing his new deal. hertz are looking for a new RB and I have read this rumour on one other major site. Hopefully their is nothing in it bu it's the kind of move the yams would make.

4.) 30 Apr 2017 17:33:16
go no I didn't say that David Gray was going to Hearts. I merely said that Hearts had made an enquiry about him. I would hope and expect that he will tell them to get lost. The source of the rumour is seemingly a well respected member of the Hibs first team.

Both Cummings and McGinnis have said that they are both happy at Hibs but that they are keeping their options open until the end of the season when they will discuss their futures with their agents and families. It will all depend on what alternatives are available. Money isn't everything and both have said that they enjoy being hibs players but that they would like to compete at the highest level. It may be a sensible decision to stay at Hibs for one more year and to test themselves against premier opposition when they will be playing in a familiar environment which they enjoy and where they are close to their families. If they do that and are successful under a great manager then perhaps bigger clubs will come knocking and they will be able to negotiate far more lucrative deals. That would be my advice to each of them.

Going. Going. gone. Cummings basically admitted he's going with his words, Mcginn a tad more tactical in his interview but basically said the same. Compare them both to when Darren McGregor was asked the same question recently.

2.) 27 Apr 2017 22:15:50
Agree with everything you say BUT if hibs receive an offer that matches or exceeds there valuation one or both will b gone.

3.) 28 Apr 2017 00:17:25
Hey, that's fitba for yeh, players come and go, bigger and better players have left hibs than McGinn and Cummings as I've said before we're going places and if they don't want a piece of the pie bye bye.

4.) 28 Apr 2017 13:01:57
I agree tomo also heard Cummings to Sunderland is a done deal. How true this is time will tell.

5.) 28 Apr 2017 18:17:49
Sounds like Lennons had a go at JC and JMCG telling them not to talk about their future, and that he and the board will decide their future. Quite right IMO. They have 3 and 2yrs respectively and have a wee bit of a cheek mouthing off.

Is it not a bit worrying seeing our players performing so well and getting recognition for it. Hanlon and McGinnis are in latest Scotland pool and are both subject to transfer speculation. McGeoch, McGregor, Bartley and Boyle regularly receive rave notices from press and media. How soon before they too are subject to transfer speculation followed by the almost inevitable actual transfer. Can it be prevented?

Nobody talking about hertz players? Would rather have them talking, shows were doing things rite, players will always come and go at Easter Rd, just got to sell for the rite price and recruit properly.

From the way John McGinn is now talking to the press, it looks like he wants to stay at Hibs for at least another year. Let's hope so anyway.

zafira

1.) 25 May 2017 13:27:57
I hope your right and I hope we get him to extend his contract by at least another year, if we don't he won't have much value to us if he goes next year with only one year left on his contract.

If Samaras had been playing for Hibs since the beginning of the season would he have converted more of the large number of crosses we have regularly put into the box to little or no effect. On paper Lennons recent signings of Commons, Humphrey and possibly Samaras look great but their current clubs would seem to think they are not worth holding on to.

1.) 04 Jan 2017 12:16:09
I would like to think that they will help us out of this league, they're not on long term contracts. We can take stock at the end of the season.

It is so important that Hibs fans get right behind the team against Raith on Saturday and give the players their full support. Gary Locke is hoping to frustrate the fans so they get on the team's back. The fans are really supportive now and we don't want a return to the days when Hibs fans were renowned for their booing as soon as anything went wrong on the pitch.

I totally agree we must have a balanced team. In the past we have perhaps relied too much on youth so l am not unhappy that we are looking at older players who can help bring on the younger players. Remember we have quite a few development league players eagerly waiting to make the breakthrough into the first team I have every confidence Neil will make the right decision.

Petrie certainly has his faults but not everything he has done he been bad. He got the club a fantastic stadium and state of the art training facilities which are the envy of every club in Scotland outwith Celtic and Rangers. It's as a result of this that we have been able to attract Neil Lennon and so many good players to the club. Yes as I say Petrie made mistakes but please give credit where it's due. Nobody is perfect.

Does this mean we have given up on Liam Henderson. I hope not. I'd like to see Henderson come on a permanent deal.

Would be great if we could buy Henderson, develop him and then sell him for a considerable profit like we hope to do with Cummings and Mcginn. Also with Dylan and Fraser somewhat injury prone, another midfielder would not go amiss in my opinion. What do you think Henderson would cost?

I wholeheartedly agree with you. We currently have two of the best strikers in the league at present and fans should be applauding them rather thancomplaining about them. Encouraging the team creates confidence in the players and helps them to try more difficult options. Look how badly Rangers are playfing since the fans got on the players backs. Aberdeen were the same last year when their fans booed them a lot.

Cummings is a youngster and still has lots to learn. Criticising the players like you are doing is not going to help their confidence.give them a chance and try to encourage them rather than criticise them. The team has been performing very well recently. Thank goodness Stubbs doesn't think like you or we would be in a real mess. He has managed to install confidence in the players by encouraging them not criticising them.

So many fans like you mate are never satisfied. Cummings is leading the top scorers list and Malonga is not far behind despite being away playing for Congo. How can you be so critical. Maybe if Hibs had more loyal fans who supported the players in the way that Hearts fans do then the team would be even better although I fail to see how any knowledgeable fan can criticise any aspect of the team the way they are playing atpresent.

Think you are talking a load of rubbish mate. Everyone who knows anything about football thinks he is,the best player in the championship. Supporters have got to quit maintaining and get behind the players.

Could be a great signing if he is now fully fit but why oh why do Hibs nearly always err on the side of caution by giving new signings short contracts until they prove themselves. If he turns out to be really good, and becomes worth a few bob, it means we will get next to nothing for him because of his short contract.
