Recently Lennons been quite heavily linked to the Scotland job, which with the way he's speaking he seems quite interested in it. Given hibs recent form is Lennon really the best man to lead Hibs forward. He doesn't seem to be a great negotiator as we missed out on key targets in the summer.

We seem to be getting conflicting info, he kicks off by saying he's flattered but not interested, we then here he's prepared to talk to the SFA if the Hibs board give permission, we now hear he's not interested. Personally, I don't think he would be a popular choice. As to taking Hibs forward, he has been his own worse enemy in talking up our chances of taking 2nd place. We are 4th and I would be happy to finish there having just come up. I haven't been impressed with a lot of his signings and for one reason or another I don't understand a lot of his selections and subs. it wouldn't bother me if he left, I didn't want him or Stokes in the 1st place.

He's never been the right man for the job, i just wanted him over some other horrific options.

How many games do we actually win by 2 goals or score 3 in? Every win is a real struggle. Given our budget, he should be performing up with Aberdeen.

I mentioned it before about Fenlon but when you judge if you have a good enough squad, you should look at how many goals you think each player will score in the season. So many players don't score or barely score for us. How can we win when the correct players haven't been signed. Lennon's signing ability has been weak at Hibs.
McGeouch, Bartley and Barker haven't scored yet; McGinn doesn't score enough for a so called £4mil player; Boyle was bought as a bench player so I'd excuse his goal average but Murray has never scored a lot and Stokes is on £6k a week and doesn't score enough.
Anyone with a football brian could see it would be a boring season goals wise and to say Hibs play great football is just laughable.

P. s fan wise, Hibs are 4th in Scotland (despite what Aberdeen fans say), so we can't complain about the position, it's the way we play, the number of goals and the number of missed opportunities that's the problem. If we had finished of the games we should've, we'd be 2nd.

He has come in and got promoted, yes I agree we should have been but we did it playing good football.
Absolutely the man for the job, and I for one hope he stays.

You guys have got to look at the bigger picture. Lennon is without doubt one of the best managers in Scotland. That's why he's being touted for the Scotland job. To be in fourth position so soon after promotion is fantastic. While it's true we are the fourth best supported team after Celtic, Rangers and Hearts, these three teams plus Aberdeen all pay higher average wages than us. Once we become established in the Premiership and get the rewards from finishing high up and possibly qualifying for Europe then we can compete on a more level footing but not quite at the moment.

The picture I see is Lennon using us to regain some credability after his disaster at Bolton. The diff between him and Stubbs is that he didn't have the huns and the yams to contend with. Hibs board and Hibs fans have given him great support and he thanks us by acting like a young lass getting asked out on her 1st date. I'm flattered but I'm not interested, well I am but I need to ask my mum. He's just signed a new contract, he should have said no and let that be the end of it. The football we play on most occasions is crap and I'm not impressed wi most of his signings. He signed 3 players at the break and only one of them has had a jersey on for about 10min. His priority is a striker he signs one and doesn't play him.
