Against herts Gray went of at half time to be replaced by Booth, the back 4 were then all left sided players! Walker scored from our right flank. On Sat it was the same back four, no right sided players, all the trouble came down Booths side no surprise their then, don't get me wrong, I like Booth, but he like Stevenson is not a right back. We have needed cover at right back since the season started, just like we need a keeper, he is just not good enough! Their is no point in playing well and scoring goals to get hit with goals of the type herts have scored against us in the last two games and their have been others, Dumbarton eg, if we are going to have any success in the playoffs should we get their we need to sort it out! What is the point in bringing in strikers when you have a keeper who can't keep them out!

We need to strengthen big time but that won`t happen and if we do I`m not sure how much I trust Stubbs with the money.

Our defence must be a priority and who is pushing Oxley for the No. 1 spot?

The funny thing is that the players he brought in on loan have not been brilliant, with the exception of McGeough, but I have no problem with the calibre of the guys he actually signed. Gray, Alagui, Allan, Malonga and Fontaine are alright by me. On the subject of Oxley, I have said all season that we need someone better between the sticks.

Agree with Lenny. The evidence supports Stubbs, the team has improved leaps and bounds. In fact the defence looks solid enough with Gray at right back, but there's no natural cover. Easy to blame Oxley for letting in goals but 2 of the 3 on Saturday were due to poor defending.
We need another right sided defender and a keeper to challenge Oxley.

Stubbs pal McNamarra has just released Mark Wilson who is 30. If he is fit he could maybe do as cover until Gray gets back, what you think?
