If stokes signs eventually, I would be quite happy with transfer window and we would be ready to go, it would still leave time for a surprise striker signing towards end of window and commons later.

Hopefully if he takes it he's up for it.
Not liking Lennon feeling he openly has to convince him to come in the press though, suggests he still fancies the money.

If he comes we have what you said aye, I'd like a quality wide player in for the left hand side though for competition and to free Swanny up to play in behind and score more.

If stokes signs there's no need for a "surprise striker" just signed the Lithuanian striker and there's Murray and shaw. That's plenty. I'd rather it be someone else but If stokes is the man then we'll have to just hope he's up for it.

I'd agree with 90 and say a wingers needed more than anything else right now. That's taking into account that stokes is a definite.

I think Lennon will play with wing backs next season.

He will have to play 3 at the back to accommodate all the CH's we have, which isn't a bad thing imo. I don't see us playing 2 wingers in a game and I'm more than happy with Boyle. Lennon says he's a striker but every time, he plays wide right! I think squirrel will have a great season given the chance.

If Stokes can't score in Championship, whar makes you think he will score in Premiership?

We struggled badly for goals last season. Cummings isn't here, so even worse. We added Swanson but nothing to suggest Lithuanian will score loads.

Very worrying if we start the season without a goalscoring forward, as the midfield can't score except Swanson. P. s Boyle scored 8 in an easy league, so probably 4 or 5 in SPL.
