No one at Hibs seems to be aware of this according to first team Hibs player. He thought it highly unlikely that McGeoch would go there as he is an out and out hoops fan.

While I think Dylan is as good a player as we’ve got at ER what more can hibs do they have offered a 12 month extension to a player who until this season has never put more than a 7 game run together, while I understand he wants more security, also hibs don’t want a potentially crocked player on their books for the next 3 years.

If Rangers are prepared to offer more than a twelve month contract then Hibs must do likewise. McGeoch has not been injured for weeks despite some heavy tackling and is far to good a player to give away on a free transfer especially to Rangers. McGinnis is probably going.
