In the past it really annoyed me being linked with Celtic players because it was always the rubbish ones and i didn't want to get thought of as the wee Celtic but they have plenty not getting a game just now that are good and i would take!

Were they not at a golf do on Tuesday? Maybe just went on from there. If we are going to lose JC which seems likely, then I suppose I would be happy enough to go with
Stokesy, as long as he plays every gamethe same as he played in the final!

I would take Liam Boyce ahead of stokes everyday of the week. We all know he's not the player he once was. Not a trier in my book. Before the Scottish cup final you have to say he was pretty poor. Having said that we do need a couple of strikers. Surely Liam Boyce is worth a punt.

We could have had Boyce 3 years ago for nothing, a real shame we didnt. i'd like to see Boyce at ER but happy with Stokes, don't reckon Lenny will let him mess about.
Hope JC goes south and not West.

I agree with your comment on Stokes, hibby07 but if Lenny can get him playing to standard he played to in the final, I think we would all be happy with that. I read that if he can find a club he's free to leave Blackburn. Sticking point might be the wages, maybe get a pay off from them and a signing on fee from us. Be able to pay the Elvis impersonator!

Hope your right Big L. We all know stokes is a class act if and when he feels like it. We're stepping up a league and it's unfortunate but the lads that didn't perform need to go. This could be Hibs time to make a statement, there isn't many teams in the league that Hibs need to be afraid off. Onwards and upwards GGTTH.

Ye know, I can't remember feeling so optimistic about a new season. I feel that we have a bit of momentum and if we make the right signings we could really be compeiting for a top 3 or 4 spot, maybe even go one better!
