Second bottom! wow 99 refusals then.

14 Feb 2019 09:41:19
Jc 27 get behind him.

14 Feb 2019 15:37:21
Is that the same jc27 who told us forget players and manager and get behind the team. How times change!

14 Feb 2019 17:11:56
I saw jc27 said that aswell. I thought he was right. Has he changed his mind?

14 Feb 2019 19:49:45
Maybe a yam in disguise.

14 Feb 2019 22:10:22
It's been done on the cheàp again I am allowed an an opinioñ that differs from your wee clique bottom line is that's a couple o wages wheñ they're let go off.

16 Feb 2019 17:05:24
Not done on the cheap cost as much as Lennon and imo great bit of business by hibs to get him.

10 Feb 2019 14:16:01
Looking like Appleton is going to be the man, any thoughts?

Agree1 Disagree2

10 Feb 2019 17:58:02
Having look into his background these past 24 hours I'm delighted and think this is absolutely the right choice.

11 Feb 2019 00:00:39
Calm soon Leanne😂.

11 Feb 2019 00:02:47
Ps Irvine welsh what a fud.

13 Feb 2019 13:07:31
I thought Appleton would be a good choice but he is trying it on. When he applied for the job did he think Easter Road was in the English Midlands. If hibs had headhunted him then relocation expenses would be expected but he applied for the job. I do agree that 4 months if he was sacked seems strange but maybe that’s what we usually agree!

06 Feb 2019 21:41:44
Good job Hamilton saints and Dundee are really bad will save us relegation come on hibs get it together.

Over 100 applications for top job let's get it right hibs.

05 Feb 2019 17:35:04
Heckingbottom being talked to. Hibs win percentage as a manager is garbage. I’m not convinced. Players wanted to play for a Stubbs or a Lennon. who is going to want to play for Heckingbottom?

05 Feb 2019 18:27:51
Looking like a done deal further talks in edinburgh.

05 Feb 2019 21:33:10
As are half a dozen others needs something doing soon players not putting in 100% self preservation in case new guy doesn't rate them.

05 Feb 2019 22:20:16
Leave it to leeann. She hasn't let us down yet. Scottish Cup win and Championship promotion from her managers ain't too shabby. We need to mind where we were a few years ago.

31 Jan 2019 08:41:34
Personally it's been a good transfer window for me, now let's get a good manager. wee rumour; Strachen till end of the season.

Agree5 Disagree3

02 Feb 2019 14:51:43
Strachan would be a good option. I hear Stubbs is interested. I hope yous tell him to get tae!

02 Feb 2019 18:41:55
Strachan would be a bad choice even short term. He's yesterdays man and I can see him causing more fractures and hassle. Time for someone with new ideas not living in the past.

04 Feb 2019 15:24:39
Would take the old Leeds manager.

31 Jan 2019 23:03:57

someone else reading and believing the crap from the crappiest paper Daily Record.

01 Feb 2019 18:49:12
Hibby he didn’t, hibs took the offer off the table that’s a fact mate.

01 Feb 2019 19:44:19
Why would we do that?
Best player we’ve had this season.

02 Feb 2019 19:10:53
He was mucking us about waiting to see what other offers came in and wouldn't give hibs a straight answer.

Just read the statement from hibs. Seems obvious that Dempster got it wrong. If not they would not have admitted there was no wrongdoing. Impossible for Lenny to continue if she was being kept on. Seen some of the names being mentioned. We don't need anybody who has failed somewhere else. That includes our cup winning manager. He thought rotherham were a better club than hibs. Anyway thanks Lenny for the exciting football and increase in season ticket sales. We are in a better financial state thanks to him.

30 Jan 2019 22:49:51
On the bright side. Hoping to sign McNulty the morra on an 18 month loan deal.

30 Jan 2019 22:52:13
Support the team and club not a manager who only wants to be here when everything is rosy Hibs are a collective looks like he's spat his dummy out once to often ps he's tried to change the way we and Flo play and it hasn't worked we changed the shape back shelf sunday and it worked. i also think he's back to tic once Brendan is of to Leicester.

31 Jan 2019 13:46:36
Don’t usually respond to submissions but need to make jc27 aware that it is the club not particular players or managers I support. First lifted over the turnstiles in season 1950/ 51 aged 8. Suppose I was following success! . Getting rid of Lennon comes I think third in my “shoot yourself in the foot” moments. Releasing Gordon Smith in 1959 rather than pay for an ankle operation still remains number 1. I was at his first game for Hearts, a reserve fixture against Hibs with over 10,000 present. Number 2 was selling Joe Baker in 1961 for asking for a £5 rise. Both under the stewardship of Harry Swan who otherwise was perhaps Hibs best ever chairman. So jc27 I do support the club with I imagine more years than most under my belt, which seems to be getting tighter with age. I do agree that there are more than Flo need a gee up. he wasn’t a prolific scorer when he first came and maybe last seasons goal tally was a flash in the pan. Hope not.

31 Jan 2019 22:02:08
How can anyone criticise Leeann Dempster. She signed Lennon in the first place . If people can't recognise a non disclosure agreement well what's the point of trying to explain it. I for one am ambivalent towards Neil Lennon. The biggest loss will be the lack of coverage from the Glasgow media now he's gone. The biggest gain will be not hearing him giving his opinion of Celtic in the middle of Hibs press conferences. Let's get behind the club. They deserve more respect than the ridicule that's been dished their way.

31 Jan 2019 22:43:35
The sun don't shine out Lenny's ass move on like your post its done and in the past anyway he did threaten to leav3 a few times before ps whinin oñ a website isn't su0porting.

26 Jan 2019 17:41:19
Hope we still bring in the striker Lennon was talking about the other day.

27 Jan 2019 16:29:15
Firstly hope Lenny's ok Talkin about mental health then slaggiñ oñe o yer best players for weeks doesn't add up secondly this has mirrored man u à wee bit and although forced Eddie made the changes to wiñ the game today we'll doñe under difficult circumstances.

25 Jan 2019 21:18:10
Promotion first season, Europe top six finish second season, lost whole midfield SJMG, ALLEN &McG where you expecting Champions League this year? If you had your way name a better manager in SPL. Can you no remember the keek mangers Butcher, etc. Aye right sit down watch the team simmer you expectation Lennon has forgotten more about football than you’d ever know. GGTTH.

25 Jan 2019 23:46:06
Lennon suspended! Might he be less than happy with the biscuit tin being firmly closed. Can’t see who we might get if he left.

26 Jan 2019 00:56:53
Despite today's rammy. this needs fixed otherwise we are in deep crap.

26 Jan 2019 09:53:04
I heard he told the board he off in summer to be rodgers number 2 at leicester city an he been to go just now.

28 Jan 2019 20:38:57
Steve Clarke is clearly a better manager however I wanted Lennon to stay. Dempster has done wonders for this club so I’ll trust her decision. 8th is unacceptable.

24 Jan 2019 15:09:34
We really need a striker but I think Lennon could have taken us as far as he can his tactics last night was rubbish.

Agree3 Disagree1

21 Jan 2019 22:25:35
Now that Omeonga has sealed his loan all we really need now is a quality goalscorer!
You've got to applaud both Lennon and the board for the pedigree of player we're trying to entice.

Ryan Gauld is a level above most of Scotland without breaking sweat and has already said he wouldn't rule out a permanent move if it suited both parties.
Scott Allan signing a three year pre-contract is very pleasing and I expect him to arrive before the window closes after he can agree a payoff.

Once that happens I believe Lewis Morgan will arrive on a six month loan to increase our options on the flanks. That being said returning Horgan out to the wing has recaptured his early season form and we're hopefully now going to see why Lennon chased him for so long.

Tommy Block has arrived and will be knocking on the first team door by next season after a period of adjustment.
We've been linked with a few strikers and been offered just as many but it appears we're taking due diligence before plunging in.

Shankland, Cummings, McNulty are to name a few we're heavily linked with but it amazes me why no top flight team chases Stephen Dobbie. I've said for years he was the one that got away at Easter Road and has proved himself continually since leaving. He's kept himself in shape and his brain gives him a yard head start over his opponents. A penalty box predator who could also take Shaw under his guidance and nurture the raw talent.

Agree2 Disagree0

22 Jan 2019 12:37:50
100% agree on the Dobbie story, and i'll take any of the 1st 3 names you mention.

18 Jan 2019 16:23:34
glad to have been wrong about Scott Allen. good work by the board. Pity we missed out on o'halleren he scores goals from the wing. Heard the 2 signings are a goalkeeper and a mid-fielder, probably tom glover and stephane omeonga. agree we could still do with an out and out goalscorer. they don't come cheap unfortunately.

18 Jan 2019 21:27:10
Another striker will be in by end off the window I’ve heard.

21 Jan 2019 09:17:46
I to have to admit I was totally wrong about Scott. Never, ever thought he would come back on our wage scale. Fantastic signing.

17 Jan 2019 20:53:15
Brilliant bit of business by hibs with Scottie Allan but we really need a good out and out striker/ goal scorer. on the plus side I've heard there is another 2 signings to come.

18 Jan 2019 14:03:21

could be a good signing as an alternative to Gauld. He was supposed to get to Dubai and sign on Monday, then it was Tuesday now it's wednesday and still no sign of him. His last game was last saturday. If he is not desperate to sign then tell him "on your bike". let's face it he has hardly set the heather on fire in portugal. we need players who want to play for us.

09 Jan 2019 16:59:33
That’s Boyle lol.

07 Jan 2019 17:24:43
Lennon says he wants 1 or possibly 2 strikers in this window. Also rumours McLaren's loan deal might be cut short (shame it has not worked out ths time) . Also hearing Gauld's loan could turn into a permanent deal in the summer if it works out. Also Byrne from Livi is apparently a possibility. I just hope he get some of these deals finalised so the players can get settled in.

Agree2 Disagree0

08 Jan 2019 01:05:21
I still think strikers is a waste of time without a midfield that can compete and retain the ball.

The ones we have have shown they can score goals in front of a midfield that can do that.
I'd be happy with another player like Slivka to be honest, does a bit of everything decently well and gets stuck in.
With two players like that in the middle we'd be a bit better defensively and it'd allow Mallan/ Gauld/ Allan some space to link up and do what they're better at, creating.

I also wonder if McLaren's poor form has anything to do with getting him cheaply at the end of the season.
He's barely played and when he has he's been thrown on with little time to do anything. Maybe he's been told to stay fit and prep for then.

If we sign Futacs be prepared for lots of route one with a lightweight midfield. Smacks a bit of desperation, plus he's quite old and has never been the fittest of players so I don't see it being great.
