I seen earlier that JC was getting a bit of a slagging off on here, just came on to say a couple of things. He wanted away since hitting the 1st team. Total nonsense btw. He could have taken a move down south for much better wages but decided to stay and help the club up. Hasn't done anything for us since the turn of the year either, what rock are you living under? He has bagged over 20 goals again this season, his 3rd year in a row and given he wasn't being played by Lennon for being a tad naughty at the start of the season that's a great result. Where else are Hibs going to get a proven 20 goals a year man at the wages they pay? Cannae believe you call yourselves Hibs fans when you criticise someone who has done so much for the club when he could easily have walked. How many other players in this day and age show that level of commitment to a club. Maybe you should try to take a leaf out of his book and actually support what's going on at Easter Road.

His 1st season under Stubbs he was looking to get away, his 2nd season under Stubbs he was looking to get away. He signed a 4yr deal under Lennon and low and behold, he's looking to get away. HE CAN GO! we will bring in a striker that will get 20 goals a season and hopefully he won't need over 100 chances to get the 20 goals, because that's what Cummings required every season. I want players that want to play for Hibs end of story.

well said big l.

4.) 24 May 2017
24 May 2017 01:32:17
Jason Cummings can't stop clubs
Being interested in him because unlike Big L they can. see talent he's 21 years old. ? & wether. He gets one chance or 100.chances 60 + goals In 3 seasons is remarkable, he also said when relegated. He wod like to stay till at least we got promoted to put things right in his book
Big L likes to have a go anyone with aspirations he's already slated John McGinn and now Cummings.

5.) 24 May 2017
24 May 2017 01:57:00
Your the one who said McGinn was inconsistent, if I slagged him tell me what I said! I never once said JC wasn't talented, I said I don't want players who don't want to play for Hibs and that's exactly what you said about Fyvie when I was extolling his virtues. Is their a rule for me and a different one for you. Try and get your facts right sonny! You should be in your bed and let the men talk.

6.) 24 May 2017
24 May 2017 07:42:14
Absolute nonsense Big L. Cummings himself has went on record to say that he made a promise to himself to stay at Hibs until they were back in the Premiership because he had missed a pen against Hamilton. So tell me, What do you know that Cummings himself didn't know. Where is all your great information coming from? Another thing, actions speak louder than words. Where is he? Yeah, that's right, still at Easter Road 3 years after he was looking to get a move if you are to be believed. Also, where do you get you accuracy on his chances to goal ratio from and does every other striker in the Scottish championship score with every chance they get? You sound like you just talk without any substance. Think before you speak please.

7.) 24 May 2017
24 May 2017 09:32:51
Absolute nonsense is it G11! He's been beating his gums about leaving for ages. Did Lennon take him to Paris to persuade him to stay, or am I makjng that up. Did he sign a 4yr deal or is that just a figment of my imagination, yes he did! Then why is he wittering on about leaving just a couple weeks ago. Lennon had to tell him to shut up, is that a fact or not? Their are also stats available that provide shots on goal, if a player has 2 or 3 shots at goal a game, which he did, and he plays over 40 games a season, you do the maths! Like I said, if he wants to go, HE CAN GO!

8.) 24 May 2017
24 May 2017 11:39:42
You're becoming a laughing stock again BIG L? I've got to agree your facts are pulled from thin air, never credible, the fact he has as many chances as you say to score one goal is not a concern he's only 21 and far from the finished article, if a. Striker isn't making chances that's a concern
John McGinn and Jason Cummings will leave this year or next, but let's enjoy them while there here with encouragement BIG L? Encouragement please GGTTH.

9.) 24 May 2017
24 May 2017 12:56:19
You never answer the points Tomo, you just get personal sonny! My answer re Cummings is the same as yours re Fyvie. If he doesn't want to play for Hibs he can go! Answer the point Tomo if you can. You can't, can you? You never respond to points you get caught on, you just slaver a new one!

10.) 24 May 2017
24 May 2017 15:27:35
Fyfie had bn offered a contract and is considering options to see if there's something better I don't want him if we're not first choice, however Cummings is contracted and has chosen hibs long term which means he is committed to hibs cause, according to you he has done very little since the turn of the year and is playing to get away? I and others have spotted a flaw in your argument and that is your facts don't stand up simple! Your against him because he played for hertz which makes you very narrow minded, & god forbid anyone wants to better themselves away from hibs! Even if it means hibs making a tidy profit BIG L your to old for the modern came your views are antiquated it's sad but true.

11.) 24 May 2017
24 May 2017 19:12:46
You said Fyvie was mediocre, you said if he doesn't want to play for us he can go! I said if cummings doesn't want to play for us he can go! whether or not Fyvie is in or out of contract is immaterial. You also said I slagged McGinn, what did I say? ( " I AND OTHERS ") who's the others?

12.) 24 May 2017
24 May 2017 19:36:40
TOMO " Cummings has chosen Hibs long term " he said he wanted to leave 2 wks ago! " I done my bit " that's what he said. That doesn't sound long term committment to me! Are you off your head?

13.) 24 May 2017
24 May 2017 19:58:43
Tomo, a few weeks ago you said that Cummings played in the wrong league to be considered for Scotland. I asked how it was that McGinn got picked, answer please! BTW you should apologise to Zafira for accusing him of making up the rumour over Gray leaving Hibs. Remember, you said you were going to eat your words on that one. It's yer heid you should eat sonny, mind and start on the inside! Lolololololololololo your a laughing stock, ye know that eh!

14.) 24 May 2017
24 May 2017 21:10:17
Let's separate fact from BIG L fiction
I and others referred to G 11 and myself spotting that you think 12 goals from the turn o the year amounts to working your ticket? G11 wrote a fine piece picking your post apart and I totally agree with him. david gray has signed an extension I believe as offered PROBLEM? Was he ever considering going to hertz? NO! No opology needed, & i'm not going back to a fortnyt ago argument that I won already! Let's stick to the facts YOU said, " Cummings has done nothing since the turn of the year"! absouletly mind boggling! You either don't watch hibs? Or you've a personal hatred toward certain players which is ok that's your choice. Regarding commitment to hibs, when Cummings signed for 4 years that was a commitment no one can deny that surely? Every transfer window talented players come to the fore, we have one or two young players who fall into this category, the Chinese whispers start, some people are taken in some people take it for what it is, ambition to realise your potential should not be frowned. upon and that's all Cummings is showing 21 years old a real few flaws lots to learn on and off park, Don't believe in EVERYTHING you read BIG L? Oh did I mention your last post was. magical.

15.) 24 May 2017
24 May 2017 21:50:28
Tomo, you have surpassed yourself with that post, I have never read so much garbage, a psychartist would have a field day. What's next, the Cantona crack about the seagulls following the ships. you are away with the faries sonny.!

{Ed007's Note - Come on lads, give it a rest with the constant digs at each other. I'm all for a bit of ribbing and ripping the pish but it's getting petty.}

16.) 24 May 2017
24 May 2017 22:05:43
I 'm sick of him jumping all over every post I make, and I don't like the way he deals with other posters on here. I've tried to explain that we are all Hibs fans and that it is not neccesary to aCT in this manner. It's like talking to a wall. It's over for me unless he starts again!

{Ed007's Note - Good man. It's one thing having a different opinion and arguing the toss about football but I'll be cutting out any posts that are just abuse.}

17.) 24 May 2017
24 May 2017 23:12:35
Any player that scores 20 plus goals a season is priceless in my book. I think it's pretty silly talking about how many chances he's missed. I'm only interested in how many times the ball goes over the line. If Cummings was to score another half dozen goals a season he would be worth millions. We as Hibs fans are very Lucky to have a striker that scores as often as he does. Isn't it ironic Hibs fan riordan scores 20 a season and he's a hero yet Cummings does the same and we're talking about getting rid of him. Plus he has a Scottish Cup Medal. Give the guy a break, I for one hope he stays. Hibs can't afford players that score so many.

18.) 24 May 2017
24 May 2017 23:33:23
The comparison with Riordan is obviously down to the fact that he was and is a Hibs fan. I don't think anyone said get rid of Cummings, what I said was that if he doesn't want to play for us let him go. That's my opinion!

19.) 25 May 2017
25 May 2017 00:26:13
I understand this is a rumours page but surely when someone just makes things up for the sake of it to down one of our own players total lies I may add! I for one will be all over it Jason Cummings 60 + goals 3 years Scottish cup winner+ championship league winner deserves credit where credits due wether he's at hibs this season or not
GGTTH.

{Ed007's Note - Do it without the silly bickering and name calling and there's no problem.}

20.) 25 May 2017
25 May 2017 00:53:46
He's a poor man's Leigh Griffiths! If he wants to go let him go, take the money!

21.) 25 May 2017
25 May 2017 00:53:46
He's a poor man's Leigh Griffiths! If he wants to go let him go, take the money!

22.) 25 May 2017
25 May 2017 00:57:17
So good I said it twice!

{Ed007's Note - How did that happen? Oh no, my fingers gof a stutter!}

23.) 25 May 2017
25 May 2017 01:10:07
There's a point being missed here if I'm not mistaken Jason Cummings signed a 4 year contract at hibs either to see it out or to compensate Hibernian if they thought the time was right to cash in Hibernian hold all the cards. But 20 goals went a long way to taking us back to the spl Cummings didn't have to commit for 4 years but it suited all parties to do so. Both getting what they want when suits both. surley better than signing a year extension and leaving hibs for nothing.

24.) 25 May 2017
25 May 2017 01:28:36
Why sign for 4 years and ask to leave year one, surely that's the point.

25.) 25 May 2017
25 May 2017 03:16:28
ffs! Surley it can't be this hard! Cummings not sure if he wants another year in championship last year, is it time to move on? managers left why not me? New manager persuades him to stay as he knows his goals will help to achieve clubs goal, here's a 4 year contract and if you want to leave after 1 or 2 years we will get decent money coming back into club/ rather than letting your contract run down and leaving us with nothing for all our input ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE! Good nyt!

26.) 25 May 2017
25 May 2017 07:40:03
Quick question Big L, Season 1, Did Cummings move? No would be the answer to that. Season 2, Did Cummings move? Oh, No would be the answer again. Season 3, You should know the question and the answer by now I think. Bottom line is. Cummings stated that when he missed his penalty against Hamilton and Hibs went down he wanted to stay until we got promoted again. He has done that yet you seem to think you know his intentions better than Cummings himself does. For someone who in your words "doesn't want to play for the club he has exceeded what most Hibs strikers that have gone before him have done. Also, bear in mind the lack of minutes he got at the start of this season and think about his tally. Had he played most games from the start he would no doubt have been nearer the 30 goal mark this campaign. People like yourself having a go at current players because you don't personally like them is not what "supporting" your club is all about. Especially when you are so far off the mark.

27.) 25 May 2017
25 May 2017 07:42:36
Aye, Spot on Tomo, people overlook the fact that Cummings is only 21. Big L, tell me the last striker who scored over 60 goals in 3 seasons playing for HIbs please? I cannae wait to see your answer tbh.

28.) 25 May 2017
25 May 2017 10:42:18
You keep bumping your gums about his 19 league goals, if that's a magnificent feat how would you describe Stephen Dobbie scoring 19 for QOS? Get it in to perspective tomo/ alter ego, it's really not that special! Take the money because I don't think he will score 20 in the prem which means his value will go down. If he wants to go let him go, why keep a player that doesn't want to be here?

29.) 25 May 2017
25 May 2017 11:16:50
tomo see that penalty he missed against Hamilton to get us relegated, do you think he meant it? Just asking like lolololo
Remember the penalty in the semi when he chose to disrespect our club, the coaches and the Hibs support when he tried to dink the keeper and made a total arse of himself and all of us! I have never forgiven him for that! If he wants to go let him go!

30.) 25 May 2017
25 May 2017 11:29:54
Big L I'm not getting at you when I compare Riordan To Cummings I'm just making a point. Us Hibs fans loved Riordan and to an extent still do after all he's a Hibby but Cummings has proved he's every bit as good yet a lot of fans can't take to him because he's a yam. Remember Hibs picked him out of the gutter when The hertz released him and have certainly mads him in to the player he is. Riordan also wanted away from Hibs as did Ian Murray however they done it sneakily by leaving for nothing. £200,000 for Riordan was a disgrace for a player of his talent at the time. So in my eyes if Cummings wants away and it's a big if then fair play to him for allowing us to command a decent fee. Give the guy a break he wares the shirt and he's our number one striker.

31.) 25 May 2017
25 May 2017 11:36:29
BTW you say he's only 21. If he had broken in to his beloved herts team do you think he would be asking for a move now. Naw I don't think so. He would still be all over Facebook given it 5-1.

32.) 25 May 2017
25 May 2017 11:55:24
BTW tomo/ Alter ego I can't tell you the last time a Hibs player scored 60 goals in 3 yrs in the Championship/ 2nd Div because we've never in my extensive lifetime been their for 3 consecutive yrs.

33.) 25 May 2017
25 May 2017 11:56:58
I'm loving this banter Tomo.

34.) 25 May 2017
25 May 2017 13:18:16
Since saying good nyt this morning I've not posted I think hibby 07 and greendreams 11 are due an opology BIG L there surley entitled to an opinion to? Or is it because there opinions different from yours.

35.) 25 May 2017
25 May 2017 13:43:23
Really!

36.) 25 May 2017
25 May 2017 21:47:15
I would let any player go that doesn't want to play for hibs shirt Cummings think he will waste his talent and in my opinion I would take £2m and let him go he ain't all that look at Scott Allan thought he was bigger than the team now struggles to get on the bench.
