Apparently hibs stepping up pursuit of stokesy deal hope so get it done way better than average lafferty.

Training ground bust-up with the club captain within 48hrs of signing on loan last time - trained with the kids for weeks afterwards yet got picked ahead of less disruptive and in-form strikers week in week out.
Destroyed morale for a few months and only turned up for bigger games.
Thank him for the cup final, don't want him permanently for a league he always thought he was better than and couldn't consistently perform in under Lennon at Celtic.

As I said I don't think the heid was in the right place, who's to say it is now, but, I'll give the lad a chance.
If he bangs in goals against the Huns/ Diet Huns with the same passion as we saw and continues with that attitude, I'm all for it!

Love to sign hendo but a fee would have to be paid. We need funds to bring in a striker we have paid 150k for marciano. Would like to see oli shaw feature a wee bit this season future prospect?

Lennon has said that Oli Shaw will feature this season, but they probably won't throw him in. They will bleed him this season, he needs to bulk up a bit. I still have it in my head that McGinn will go to Celtic and that one or two Celtic players plus cash will come out way. Hendo might be one of them. I'm sure that unless McGinn signs an extension then he will be sold, Hibs will not let his contract run down to a yr, it would lower any transfer value.

Stephen was desperate to join his brother at Hibs last season so much so that he got a John to tell Neil Lennon this, Lennon decided we didn't need him at the time and he signed for St Mirren a few days later .

I definetly think since lennon has stated we are looking to finish 2nd we need to sign quality players for prem level. Love to bring stokes back but don't think it will happen so would like us to push for liam boyce and moult. Especially since cummings is off. Why don't we try for liam henderson in midfield since fyvies out?

No chance hibs will invest 1M+ for Moult and Boyce, dreamland to even suggest that. One of them at an absolute push. Would like to see Greg Stewart come in on season loan, bit more realistic!

Hibs just announced the Cummings deal is done.
We've just sold a potential 20 goals for a million or more, why not invest that straight into two strikers who could potentially score 20-30 goals between them and give us a serious chance of European football next season or another cup?
It wouldn't cost us anything since it's a fee we just recouped.

Would be a great signing guy finishes like a striker confident aswell some great freekicks 250k seems very fair. Hopefully lennons confident in landing striker if he's spending money in the midfield.
