I know he has been mentioned before but what is the current status on Craig Sibbald? Is he still out of contract?
In my opinion, I'd have him over Commons. Commons possibly has more quality, but can he play all 38 plus cup runs games? Sibbald would fill the void in left mid, the only position I think we need to fill.
The squad is excellent. Hats off to Lennon. I think Sibbald is the player to take Brian Grahams wages.

The problem is that even mediocre players can get good wages. I think Lenny/ HiBS have decided to cut down the size of the squad so that they can up the wages they can offer to players. Last season we must have had around 30 players, at the moment we have 21, 4 of whom are Shaw Martin, Porteous and F Murray all of whom are on Dev wages. That leaves us wi a hard squad of 17. I think their will be cash there to bring in another player and I would like it to be Tony Andreau. Goal scoring mid/ No 10. 1 in 2 wi Hamilton, 1 in 2 wi Dun Utd. Btw just released by Norwich.

There are several players at east mains just now. Apart from the ones already mentioned. nobody of note. In my opinion. 4 more players will be signed. we know 2 but don't know the others.

Saw on a Celtic chat that Henderson on a one year loan and Commons on a 2 year loan will be finalised this week as a verbal agreement has been agreed. Any truth to this?

Surely there can't be any truth in that I mean why would we get Commons for two years. Firstly we couldn't afford his wages as a signed player and as a loan we would only pay a percentage of his wage. Why would Celtic allow him to come to Hibs and they would pay the majority of his wage, sorry but this one dosent make sence.

They may let him go for 6 months to get a regular game and put him in the shop window as Rodgers might not want to play him. I doubt we could get him for a year or 2 years as Celtic would need to be overly generous for that.
He's good enough for top half English Championship teams at least so i wouldn't get how he would come to Hibs unless he loves Scotland a lot, hmm.
I definitely want him though.

Not in that wee kris commons. He's a bit too interested in being a celebrity and he would rumble with all the hibs and hearts fans up the town every other week. Bring back frank SAUZEE as director of football then scour the english Vauxhall conference for young talent. It's simle people get on board with it people.

That's Insall signed up. Good goal scoring record.
Kind of confused by the signings though. Stubbs taking inspiration from the past and going for 5 up front? Keatings, Cummings, Malonga, Farid, Insall, Feruz and Anier to pick from. Who is going to start??
Pleased with a bit of ambition though. Good to see Hibs making signings to challenge for the title.

I thought Insall would be an 18 month contract, seeing as he is a risk.
As for our forwards, El Alagui basically isn't a Hibs player. Injured 85% of the time.
It seems as if we are going for quantity in midfield and up front, when maybe quality would be preferable.
Excited to see if Feruz and Insall are good though!

I don't know what to make of the term of Insall's contract other than they had a good look at him and must have decided they seen enough to make them believe he was worth it. The area that probably suffers most with injuries is midfield, we have six to choose from and everyone of them can play a bit, I think we have really good quality in that particular area! One things for sure, Feruz will put bums on seats next home game, if only to see what we've got!

No debate required, he is a Hibs player and that's that!! Remember, he was badly injured while playing for our club, that's why he missed most of last season and it is disgusting to disregard him in that manner.

He's basically a Ledley King or Dean Ashton. I like him but he is going to be injured for more games than he plays until his contract is up.

Hopefully he can settle in this time knowing he has tried elsewhere. Edinburgh is his home. I imagine being settled in an area makes quite a difference to morale on the pitch. Lennon won't take any nonsense either.
Moult and May would come for a season or 2 and move on. I'd prefer we lose the feeder team persona and have a team of Sir Lewis'.
